Building a Rock-Solid Backbone for Mission Critical Communications
Problem Statement:
A high availability (99.999%) ring/mesh microwave backbone, proving support for next-generation IP-based applications while supporting existing TDM interfaces for a seamless transition. The multi-gigabit backbone provides plenty of scalability for new applications, including high-definition video surveillance and AI-powered analytics.
Solution:
Our public safety customer had an unreliable, low capacity legacy TDM-based microwave network to support mission-critical communications for first responders.
Rural Carrier Connects the Unconnected
Solution:
By deploying a multi-gigabit licensed microwave and millimeter-wave backbone, combined with a CBRS-based point-to-multipoint solution, our WISP partner was able to bring 100 Mbps service to residential customers and 1 Gbps links to schools, transforming an entire community.
Problem Statement:
While residential internet access in urban areas commonly exceeds 1 Gbps, many rural communities and schools are still unable to get basic broadband connectivity.
Bringing Broadband (and Netflix) to Remote Mining Sites
Problem Statement:
A 1 Gpbs licensed microwave backbone for low latency, high availability transport was complimented with a wireless point-to-multipoint network to tie in additional locations. All sites are now able to support advanced, high bandwidth applications ranging from video surveillance to industrial sensors, to camp connectivity to keep crews connected both on and off the job .
Solution:
A new mining operation needed to quickly establish high capacity connectivity to remote mines and camps.
